Software project management that keeps delivery on track
Software development management is one of our core strengths. We bring a proven lifecycle, well-scoped work, and a Ship Gate so your projects ship working software โ and nothing reaches you unproven.
Talk about your projectWhat's included
- A defined delivery lifecycle so everyone knows how work moves from idea to production, and who is upstream and downstream of them.
- Well-scoped tickets with clear context and acceptance criteria, broken into small pieces engineers can finish confidently.
- The Ship Gate on every ticket: each acceptance criterion is proven on the real path a user would take before anything reaches you. Unit tests alone do not count.
- Stakeholder management that turns big-picture business goals into specific, buildable work, and keeps you updated on all of it.
The Ship Gate
A ticket is not done when the code is written. It is done when the Ship Gate passes.
We map each ticket to concrete checks โ what you would click, see, or receive โ then prove them on the real path. Unit tests and reading the code do not count. If something fails and we fix it, we run the gate again.
You get working software, not a report that says it should work.
Why projects stall, and how we prevent it
Software projects most often stall in one of two ways: endless planning that never produces working software, or rushed work that produces the wrong thing. We avoid both by delivering in small, frequent increments and gathering feedback each time, so course corrections are cheap.
We also plan for a sustainable pace. Engineers who aren't overwhelmed by a pile of half-defined tasks make fewer mistakes and deliver more predictably.
Frequently asked questions
Can you manage developers we already have?
Yes. We can run delivery for your in-house team, our engineers, or a mix of both, bringing our lifecycle, ticket standards, and Ship Gate to whoever is writing the code.
What does a well-written ticket look like?
At minimum, a Context section describing the problem and proposed solution, and Acceptance Criteria listing exactly what must be true for the work to be done. Large tasks are broken into several smaller tickets.
How do you keep stakeholders informed without endless meetings?
We stay on top of the project plan, track every request no matter how it was mentioned, and ask specific, precise questions. You get regular updates and frequent working software instead of long status reports.
What is the Ship Gate?
A required check before anything ships. We map each ticket to concrete acceptance checks, then prove them on the real path a user would take. Unit tests and reading the code are not enough. If we fix something, we run the gate again.
Is a software project slipping?
Tell us where it stands. We'll reply with specific next steps.
